No worries. I hadn't come across one of those before. I love the balls-out names of 60s muscle cars.
'Fairlane Thunderbolt'. Much better than Z4 sDrive35i, if a little cheesy.

Speaking of cool names.
My grandfather owned one of these back in the 60's, Oldsmobile Jetfire. It had a turbocharged fuel-injected aluminum V8 which is pretty cool when you consider this is 1960's American sedan.

That's ahead of F1 tech for the time. Very impressive.
The Americans really were an ambitious lot in the early 60s. What with this, the Corvair and the Pontiac Tempest. I wonder when another American sedan reached the same levels of ambition.
Probably not until the Regal GNX in the 80s.

I have thought deeply about your post and I have come to the conclusion that is is correct.
I would also appreciate a Thunderbird in my garage.

I am amazed at the number of old American cars there are in Europe.

Especially seeing as they didn't really sell any of them here. I remember they sold the old Falcon, but beyond that I'm not sure.
The other day I saw an 8.1l Dodge Charger for sale on a classified ad. Bonkers.

I think you need a Thunderbird.

I think you might be right :)
This one was for sale at a local, slightly shady car dealership. Doesn't have chalkboard black paint, jet-engine rear lights or big fat rear tyres though.
I spoke to the chap and apparently he's got roughly 20 70s and 80s Rolls Royces in various states of repair.

I wouldn't change that red, though. That's gorgeous!

If I were to get a 4th gen Thunderbird, I'd get it in off-white/cream with a bit of a patina to it.
There was a shot of one somewhere that showed it perfectly, but I can't for the life of me find it.
Either way they're stunning looking things :)
